Nintendo Universe

12 questions · Games & Comics

In 1889 a man in Kyoto founded a small playing-card company: hardly anyone imagined it would one day become the most colourful universe in video games. Today Nintendo is an idea factory whose characters every child knows and which brings grandparents and grandchildren to the screen together. Its worlds are full of plumbers, princesses, dinosaurs and space hunters, and many of its heroes have long become icons of pop culture. From the first jumping hero to the great crossover brawl, this pack gathers the most famous faces: recognise Mario, the world-famous plumber in red overalls, his timid brother Luigi, the sword-swinging hero Link of Hyrule, the pink all-rounder Kirby, the barrel-rolling Donkey Kong, the space pilot Fox McCloud, the armoured villain Bowser, the bounty hunter Samus, the pocket monsters of Pokémon, the loyal dinosaur Yoshi, Princess Peach and Super Smash Bros., where they all battle each other: recognise them by their adventures, their catchphrases and the colourful worlds they call home.
